2. General Principles of Data Processing

This website was developed with the goal of processing as little personal data as possible. No cookies are set, no cross-site tracking is conducted, and no data is transmitted to advertising networks. A consent notice (cookie banner) is therefore not required.

The hosting provider of this website automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits when you access the page. These are:

  • IP address (anonymized after a short time)

  • Referrer URL

4. Web Analytics with Umami

This website uses Umami Analytics (Provider: Umami Software Inc., USA) to collect anonymized usage statistics. Umami is explicitly designed to:

  • not set cookies,
  • not store personal data,
  • not permanently capture IP addresses,
  • not create user profiles, and
  • not perform cross-device tracking.

Only anonymized, aggregated metrics such as page views, country of origin (based on anonymized IP range), and device used are collected. Individual identification is not possible.

Since no personal data is processed, consent under Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a GDPR is not required. Legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the web offering).

5. Email Contact

If you contact me by email, the data you provide (name, email address, message content) is stored and used exclusively to process your request. No transfer to third parties takes place. Legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). The data is deleted once your request has been processed.
